Uzumati Ceramics exists to explore the connection between people and wild places through handcrafted stoneware collections inspired by rugged landscapes and storied travels.

Master Shin In-Young produces the best handmade knives and farming tools in Korea and was named by the Gyeonggi Province as an Intangible Cultural Heritage Treasure in 2016.

She studied in the workshops of the School of Plastic Arts of the Universidad Veracruzana, in Xalapa, Ver. He has participated in group exhibitions, national and international exhibitions. She participated as creator and coordinator of projects of design of environmental educational material for Pronatura, Chiapas, ZOOMAT interpretive center of flora and fauna, Shel-Ha and Xcaret. He has also given recycling and eco-design workshops in the cities of Puebla, Veracruz, CDMX, Mérida and more recently in the city of Madrid, Spain. 

Established in 2014 as a solitary design and retail brick-and-mortar in Costa Mesa, CA, May Martin has blossomed into a collective of skilled artisans dedicated to crafting enduring, cherished pieces. Our growth now includes a second physical location with a third on the way soon!
